You should try it in wario's car :P

[edit]

The tracks available for multiplayer are a bit poor, aren't they? What happened to all the good ones?

Friends code has been sent.
Excellent. Now, did I mention that the wireless kit we've got here at the uni house doesn't like my DS and vice-versa?

How about at the weekend, when I'm at home with wireless kit that actualy works?
Well?!?

Kirby: Power Paintbrush (Canvas Curse) - Just because of this.
This game is awesome. The control method (drawing rainbows for Kirby to roll along) takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you have, it's an absolute delight of fluid cartoony bliss.

It's also the only platformer (apart from Imogen on the Beeb) that I've ever felt any compulsion to attempt to fully complete, in terms of objective collection.

It's a bit tricky to play on the tube, though, because one bad jog can severly mess up a graceful swooping line and instead dump you into some spikes, or flames, or whatnot.

I don't have one yet! I haven't got round to setting up my router to allow me to wifi with the DS, nor actually checked if it's even a compatible one.

Anyone know when the DSLite will be out in this country? (Assuming I don't want to pay the 180 quid or so that the imports are going for on eBay.)

My only real complaint with the current one is that my fingers felt a bit too cramped - apparently the buttons have been moved further up the unit on the new model, so maybe I'll be more comfortable.

Whaaaaaaaat?

Anyone know when the DSLite will be out in this country? (Assuming I don't want to pay the 180 quid or so that the imports are going for on eBay.)
No idea.

My only real complaint with the current one is that my fingers felt a bit too cramped - apparently the buttons have been moved further up the unit on the new model, so maybe I'll be more comfortable.
I think I've just worked out how to hold a DS properly :o

Up until now I've been trying to hold it like a GBA, i.e. wrapping my index fingers round the top to use the shoulder buttons, and pressing the bottom corners of the unit into the palms of my hand (unlike the GBA where you can rest it against the inner side of your index finger's knuckles). However you then have to bend your thumbs to reach the buttons, which gets uncomfortable after playing for a while.

The new approach (which I have yet to test playing a game :P) is to have the bottom corners of the unit further up my hand, closer to the joint between my index fingers and thumbs. I then have my other fingers slightly straighter behind the console, so that they're pointing towards each other. This seems to give enough distance for my thumbs to straighten out, without me losing massive amounts of shoulder button control or dropping the unit on the floor :P

*makes note to read up on the names of the different parts of the hand before trying to explain anything like this again*
