The powerful RISC OS Bible reading package, LogosWord, is now available on CD along with an extensive library of texts (Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries and Lexicons). The CD initiative has been introduced in response to user feedback - the package is also distributed via the internet but this requires some lengthy downloads.

Rick Hudson has released a 32 bit beta of his star charting program. ROCchart comes with a set of star and constellation resources and can use the extensive data on the Project Pluto CD. A mailing list called ROAST has been set up for RISC OS astronomers to discuss software, image processing and hardware projects (such as Rick's Risc PC controlled telescope).

Other software news: "Old but still available" is how Rob McCann describes Enterprise Accounts; the integrated range of programs is designed to fulfill the needs of small to medium sized businesses. However, "old but still available" is never how we would describe Professor Peter Killworth, who has rereleased Tim Birks' excellent graph generator, Tau - well worth checking out.
